Partnering for Climate

Partnering for Climate (P4C) is a Global Affairs Canada initiative focused on fostering global collaboration to address climate change by encouraging partnerships between governments, private sectors, and civil society. It aims to promote sustainable solutions, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support climate resilience in vulnerable communities. Through joint efforts, P4C seeks to drive meaningful action toward achieving global climate goals and promoting environmental sustainability through nature-based solutions.

Nature-based Solutions for Climate Adaptation 

NAbSA (Nature-based Solutions for Climate Adaptation) is coordinated by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and is part of Global Affairs Canada's Partnering for Climate (P4C) community. NAbSA brings together a network of organizations programming 19 nature-based climate change adaptation projects, including the LINCZ project, in 30 countries, with the majority taking place in Sub-Saharan Africa. The initiative supports collaborations and knowledge exchange across projects through its resources and learning network, while advancing gender-responsive, biodiversity-positive nature-based solutions that strengthen climate adaptation.?
